Vitroglyph is a renowned glass sculpture studio located in Chimacum, WA, specializing in the unique and innovative work of glass sculptor Henner Schroder. With a focus on large-scale sandcast glass and steel sculptures, Schroder's artistic technique involves rolling cast glass slabs into heavy cylinders, adding three-dimensionality to the pieces through moldblowing, shaping, bending, and twisting. Inspired by global sites, many of the sculptures feature pictograph and petroglyph images floating inside the cast glass. Additionally, Vitroglyph offers a distinctive concept in contemporary building enhancement with their Vitroglyph Tiles, designed by Schroder, which can be arranged into countless patterns in collaboration with clients using a downloadable computer program.

Henner Schroder, born in Germany in 1955 and raised in West Berlin, moved to the United States in 1977 to pursue his art studies. With a background in studying at the Massachusetts College of Art and receiving a fellowship at the Creative Glass Center of America, Schroder has also taught at prestigious institutions such as the Pilchuck Glass School and Pratt Fine Art Center in Seattle. As co-owner and operator of the Chimacum Glass Studio, which he designed and built over a span of five years in the early 90s, Schroder's state-of-the-art glass casting facility is the largest of its kind in the Pacific Northwest.
