Van Well Nursery

Van Well Nursery is a nursery located in Wenatchee, Wash., that grows apples, apple rootstocks, pears, asian pears, pear rootstocks, apricots, cherries, cherry rootstocks, peaches, nectarines and dates. Among the apricots the nursery provides are the Tomcot, the Goldstrike and the Goldbar. Among the peaches the nursery provides are the early redhaven, the golden monarch and the Risingstar. Risingstar peaches ripen early in the growing season. Risingstar fruit is 80 percent bright orange-red, with a slight stripe, firm and averages 2.5 inches in radius and larger. Risingstar s flesh is firm and melting. Many of Van Well s other fruits are described on its Web site. The nursery sells its fruits to grocery stores and farmers markets. The nursery sells its rootstocks to growers in the United States Northwest.
