Founded in 1977, Valley Christian School provides a Christ-centered educational foundation to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. It offers classes in the Bible, reading, spelling, math, science, social studies and language arts. The school also organizes several extracurricular activities, including orchestra, band, chorus, computer training and swimming. Valley Christian School also provides before- and after-school care programs. It has a staff of teachers and secretaries, as well as a custodian and administrative personnel. In addition, the school offers volunteer and scholarship services. Valley Christian School is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International. Located in Auburn, Wash., it is a ministry of Auburn Free Methodist Church.
