UW Medicine Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic at South Lake Union

Christopher McMullen, MD, C.A.Q.S.M., is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor, also called a physiatrist, who specializes in sports medicine. He is a UW assistant professor of Rehabilitation Medicine and Sports & Spine Medicine. Dr. McMullen cares for patients of all ages and abilities with the goal of getting people back to what they love. He treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with a focus on non-operative treatment strategies. While he works with a variety of athletes, he has a particular interest in climbers and is currently fostering a relationship with the local climbing community in an effort to combat injuries in this rapidly growing sport. Dr. McMullen earned his M.D. at the University of Maryland.

Phuong D. Nguyen, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician. Dr. Nguyen believes in collaborating with patients to help meet their individualized healthcare goals. She views the patient-physician relationship as a long-term partnership. She strives to give a personalized approach in the care of her patients. Dr. Nguyen’s clinical interests include pediatric care, chronic disease management, and in-office procedures including skin biopsies, cyst removals and Nexplanon insertions/removals.
