Numerica Credit Union originated as the Spokane Railway Credit Union more than 60 years ago in the Spokane, Wash., area. It benefits its members by offering financial services including checking and savings accounts, credit services, debit cards, home and vehicle loans, insurance and investments. In 2003, Numerica Credit Union merged with the $40 million North Central Credit Union with approximately 8,000 members and three branches in the Wenatchee Valley area. Numerica opened a new branch in Kennewick, Wash., in February 2005. Numerica also merged with the Coeur d Alene Teachers Credit Union, expanding its membership in North Idaho. Numerica Credit Union now serves 61,000 customers in eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

From modest beginnings in 1953, Gesa Credit Union has grown from a part-time office operating out of a shoebox to the second largest credit union in WA state.
