Traffic Safety Commission

Washington Traffic Safety Commission is a state government program for reduce and control fatalities and serious injuries due to road accidents in the state of Washington. The organization works with various communities and tribes across the state to identify and help resolve traffic safety issues. It gathers, analyzes and reports data on traffic deaths in Washington and distributes state and federal traffic safety funds. Washington Traffic Safety Commission supervises and controls various traffic and road safety related issues, such as impaired driving, speeding, young drivers, seat belts and occupant protection; distracted driving and traffic records. Additionally, the organization conducts public education campaigns.
