Sweet Little Sounds
HistoryFrom the owner, Katie: As I was completing my Bachelors in Music Performance at the University of Washington, my professor referred several students to me. During this time and moving into my Masters studies, I realized that I had a strong passion for teaching. I began teaching at several high schools, taught UW students wanting supplemental technical study, and found that my flexible approach resonated with students. As the years have gone by, I have had the opportunity to teach much younger students, and seem start students earlier and earlier as the years go by. I now offer general music lessons, piano lessons, percussion lessons, and percussion ensemble, and group classes. Students and families of any race, color, nationality, gender, ethnicity, cultural background, religion, sexual orientation, family make-up or circumstances are welcome at Sweet Little Sounds!SpecialtiesAt Sweet Little Sounds, we are proud to offer fun and innovative piano classes. Students explore and expand their joy of music in a low-pressure, creative and process based environment. The studio features a beautiful digital piano lab in addition to an acoustic piano and many active learning stations. Classes move fast and students push each other to learn.
