The Gum Wall, located at Pike Place Market in Seattle, WA, is an unconventional art installation resulting from a quirky tradition started by theatergoers at the Unexpected Productions' Market Theater. Since its inception in the early 1990s, the wall, adorned with over 250,000 pieces of chewed gum, has become a unique and evolving canvas where visitors express themselves through messages, names, and symbols.
