While trying to squeeze a quick hike in during a trip to Seattle (from Tri-Cities), I happened upon the Teanaway River Valley. I had never hiked up this way (did fly fish it last year though)....

What a place. After a long say of hiking in esmerlda basin its nice to talk to some of the employees and chow down with some ice cream in there little lounge area. Way better then the original...

teanaway out post is the go to place while camping in the teanaway valley.friendly people and well stock with basic supplys.i support them eveytime im in the valley.
