Taneev Escamilla, MD

Dr. Wang is a Harvard-trained, double board-certified Mohs micrographic surgeon and dermatologist specializing in skin cancer surgery and complex reconstruction. He is skilled in advanced tissue-sparing techniques to achieve the best results for each patient. He is nationally recognized for his skin cancer research and received the prestigious Tromovitch Award from the American College of Mohs Surgery, given annually to one Mohs surgeon for outstanding research. He lives in Seattle with his wife, a radiation oncologist.

Dr. Sharp has a special interest in obesity, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hypertension, dyslipidemia, fatty liver and other insulin-resistance related metabolic diseases. He is also fascinated by the psychology of behavior change. One of Dr. Sharp's undergraduate degrees was in classical saxophone performance. He still plays and collects saxes, but these days plays mostly jazz and blues with the Polyclinic's house band. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two children and dog.

Dr. Johnson is interested in obesity, metabolic syndrome, diabetes and other insulin resistance-related metabolic disease. She enjoys working with women on lifestyle approaches to improve fertility, polycystic ovarian syndrome and menopausal changes. Dr. Johnson loves anything outdoors: downhill skiing, hiking and she is working on running. Other favorites are traveling, reading, cooking, knitting, yoga and meditation. She has two growing boys, and their care and feeding is quickly becoming another specialty.
