History

In 2004, Surfin Seafood was founded by two mothers who decided that the high quality seafood they had access to should be available to others. Surfin Seafood has been successful for the last 7 years because we begin with the highest-quality, sustainable seafood out there. The seafood is vacuum-sealed in 12-16 ounce fillets, then flash-frozen. This method locks in the integrity of the flesh of the fish at that moment because it halts the seafood's exposure to oxygen. It's the combination of vacuum-packing/flash-freezing that preserves the freshness, flavor and color of our seafood until you're ready to prepare it. We started with 40 customers in October 2004 . . . in October 2011, we now have over 1,200 who rely on Surfin Seafood to meet their seafood needs!

Orders are placed on-line at www.surfinseafood.com. We offer packages of seafood but the package contents are just a starting point. Feel free to substitute in/out seafood items to create the combination of seafood you most love! Our menu includes a variety of salmon, halibut, prawns, scallops, crabmeat, true cod, ling cod, black cod, trout and much, much more. We deliver monthly but you can order as often or as little as you wish. We have designed an opt-in method of ordering for your complete flexilibity. We have hundreds of delicious seafood recipes on our website too. Having high quality seafood on-hand, in your freezer, makes it so easy to eat seafood more often!
