Spring through fall, Sun Mountain Lodge offers a range of activities, which include 100 miles of trails for hiking, mountain biking and horseback riding crossing the countryside. Fly-fishing, river rafting, canoeing, tennis, golf and a children's program are also available. During snow season, Sun Mountain Lodge turns into a cross-country ski resort. Guests can glide onto the second-largest cross-country ski trail system in the United States right outside the lodge. Ice skating and sleigh riding are also offered during the season. Located in Winthrop, Wash., Sun Mountain Lodge offers hot pools, as well as spa services.
