In the 1950s, Streamline Tavern originally was located on the 500 block of Queen Anne Avenue North. (On the south side of the Uptown Cinema.) It moved to the (former) 121Mercer St. location in the early 1960s around the time of the 1962 World's Fair when the Space Needle and Monorail opened. From December 2014 to Feb. 2015 it moved again after the South Korean government bought the Mercer St. property and evicted all the tenants. It opened at the current location, 174 Roy Street, on Friday, February 13, 2015.
We are a great neighborhood bar with cheap food and drinks and terrific customers.
