The Kittitas County Public Works department is a provider of engineering, construction, maintenance and administration services for the county's road system. Based in Ellensburg, Wash., it is one of the county's largest departments. The department provides development/access permits, project design/engineering, planning and development services. In addition, it provides services in departmental and personnel policies as well as general information regarding the Public Works Department. The Kittitas County Public Works department has handled projects, including Nelson Siding Road, Badger Pocket Road Bridge and County Courthouse ADA Ramp.
