The Spokane County Sheriff's Office operates through patrol, civil, investigations and jail divisions. The patrol division is responsible for responding to calls, conducting investigations and processing evidence and property. This division also consists of officers assigned to the traffic unit, courthouse security and other special units. The office s civil division carries out the directives of the courts. The division serves subpoenas and court orders, as well as carries out evictions. The jail division provides food, clothing and indoor recreational facilities for inmates. The division organizes recreational, educational and religious programs. Additionally, it offers medical treatment services.
