Food Bank Operations The Food Bank has a board of directors and is registered with the State of Washington and the federal government as a non-profit corporation. The executive director is Neil Watkins. There are approximately 70 volunteers who donate their time working at the food bank and picking up food seven days a week. Volunteers are the "Heart" of our program! Donations are made by individuals, churches, clubs, groups, schools, businesses, etc. Many advocates will have special food and/or fund drives or special events to benefit the food bank. At Christmas the Precious Packages program provides new donated toys, gloves, hats, etc., to children in need. In August the food bank gives out donated school supplies and backpacks to under privileged children.

In response to the challenges posed by the Covid situation, the Maltby Food Bank in Snohomish, WA has adapted its operations to provide food assistance by appointment only on Thursdays. To secure your allocation, simply email your name, address, and the number of individuals in your family to Info@maltbyfoodbank.org. On the remaining days of the week, the food bank is open to receive donations from the community.
