KAS has three basic first jump courses to get you started into the fantastic sport of skydiving. Instructor Assisted Deployment ( IAD ), Tandem Skydives and Accelerated Free Fall ( AFF ) are the training programs we offer to get you on your first jump. Kapowsin Air Sports, Ltd is a U.S. Parachute Association ( USPA ) Group Member and is owned and operated by the Farrington Family, Geoff, Jessie, Keri and Andy. Together they have logged over 30, 000 jumps and have all competed in many skydiving competitions. We have a highly qualified group of instructors that can assist you in all aspects of the skydiving sport. Weather you are a licensed skydiver who hasn't made a jump in a while ot you are looking to make your first jump. We are a full service drop zone with all the amenities needed to make skydiving your new sport. All the instructors at Kapowsin Air Sports are USPA licensed skydivers and each possess the appropriate USPA ratings. All jump activities are done in accordance with FAA regulations and the USPA's Basic Safety Requirements. Our jump center is a large facility located in Shelton, WA. We recently completed construction on a huge 100' x 100' hangar that houses our rigging loft, classroom, gear store, Jumper's Cafe, Kasha's Massage and storage for all of our aircraft.
