In 2018, the observatory was remodeled to include a dedicated entrance and box office on 4th Avenue, an express elevator direct from Floor 1 to Floor 73, and a full cafe and bar on the 73rd floor.

Specialties

Sky View Observatory is NOW Fridays through Sundays! Due to state mandates, masks are required for ALL guests. Currently Booking for Private Views and Private Proposals on Thursdays. Sky View Observatory is located on the 73rd floor of the Columbia Center in downtown Seattle. At just over 900 feet, it is the tallest public observatory in the Pacific Northwest. The 360 degree panoramic view includes Mt. Baker, Bellevue, the Cascade Mountains, Mt. Rainier, Elliott Bay, the Olympic Mountains, the Space Needle and the City of Seattle. The recently renovated Sky View Cafe is a great spot to grab a bite to eat and a local beer, wine, or cocktail.
