Long-term rental housing & rental assistance services throughout Seattle. The Seattle Housing Authority provides affordable housing for more than 26,000 people throughout Seattle, Washington. Since 1939, we've been helping people with long-term rental housing and rental assistance programs. Our mission is to enhance the community by creating and sustaining decent, safe and affordable living environments that foster stability and self-sufficiency for people with low incomes. Our current programs include: Low Income Public Housing Program Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) Seattle Senior Housing Program Impact Property Management We have properties on more than 400 sites throughout Seattle, including apartment buildings, townhomes, single and multi-family dwellings.
