Handmade, small batch, grain-to-glass spirits. America's 17 Best Craft Distilleries (Thrillist), Best in Western WA 2015 & 2014 (Evening Magazine). We are a small-batch craft distillery on Vashon Island, just west of Seattle, Washington in the beautiful Puget Sound. We make our spirits from scratch, by hand, using the very best local ingredients. We think you can taste the difference. We were thrilled to be voted King 5 Evening Magazine Western Washington's Best Spirits/Distillery in 2014. We make an Old World style Vodka, an herbaceous Northwest Gin, a single-malt, Irish style Whiskey, and a rich, coffee-forward Coffee Liqueur. Seattle Distilling Vodka was awarded a silver medal in 2014 from the American Distilling Institute. Seattle Distilling Gin was named Washington's Best Gin at Seattle Gin Society's Ginvitational 2014, and our Seattle Distilling Coffee Liqueur won Gold at 2014 Great American Distiller's Festival.

Don't let the name trip you up. This distillery is on Vashon Island and is near the town of Vashon and is not in Seattle proper. With that said Steve and I just kind of stumbled across this place...

JP Trodden Distilling

J.P. Trodden Distilling, located in Maltby, Washington, crafts small batch bourbon using locally sourced corn and winter wheat.
