Seattle Academy

Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences is an independent, coeducational secondary school that was founded in 1983 and provides education for middle and upper school students. Located in Seattle, it serves more than 500 students and offers a variety of academic courses, including arts, English, foreign languages, history, mathematics, physical education, science and technology education. The academy s library offers a large online database and has a collection of various reading and reference materials, such as books, magazines, encyclopedias, journals, newspapers and dictionaries. It provides various athletic activities, including soccer, cross country, basketball, squash, skating, golf, tennis, and track and field. The academy also offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities and student organizations, such as bee, community service, chess, knitting, skating and awareness clubs, judiciary committee, the National Honor Society, speech, debate, youth legislature and student government.
