Salmon Bay Café's hip and fun staff serve traditional American breakfast and lunch (and soon dinner), great coffee, and beer, wine, or cocktails from our full bar. No small plates, no gastro-novelties-Ballard already has plenty of joints like that. Our goal is to offer something different: comfort food with home-cooked deliciousness. Great meals at great value! C'mon down to the waterfront and check out working-man's Ballard: fisherman-sized omelets, habit-forming seafood benedicts, two-fisted sandwiches and full plates for hearty appetites. We have great veggie options, too. Not hungry for hash browns today? Substitute a small mountain of beautiful fresh fruit. We bake to-die-for muffins on the weekends and we've got plenty of free parking-how many restaurants in Ballard can say that? The café has been serving the fishing and shipbuilding community since 1970, generating a loyal following. So when it's time for an update, we knew we had a tradition to uphold. We've renovated, but with an eye to preserving the Jersey Shore diner feel that our long-time regulars and new Ballard buddies love
