Roosevelt Park

Built in 1960 and located in Federal Way, Wash., Lakota Middle School operates under the Federal Way School District. The school offers a variety of research-based academic programs for students in grades six through eight. It provides assignments and small instructional groups that offer additional support in reading and math. Lakota Middle School offers an after school program from Monday through Thursday. McMicken Heights Elementary School, located in SeaTac, Wash., provides a variety of academic, sports and extracurricular programs. McMicken Heights Elementary School, founded in 1949, serves more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school s parent-teacher organization sponsors several fundraising events and educational programs for parents, teachers and students. Its academic curriculum includes English, science, mathematics, language arts and social studies. McMicken Heights Elementary School additionally offers classes in physical education, art and music. The school is governed by Highline Public Schools.
