Discovering a passion for great wines through travel, the Dufenhorsts planted roots in 2013 in their own backyard in Orondo, Washington next to the Columbia River. Today, Rocky Pond has over 125 acres of vineyards, all Salmon-Safe and LIVE Certified, spanning three distinct microclimates – the Clos CheValle Vineyard in the Chelan AVA, the Double D Vineyard in the Columbia Valley AVA, and the new Rocky Reach AVA. The compelling Bordeaux and Rhone Valley-inspired wines are exclusively crafted from their estate vineyards, allowing ultimate control from vine to wine.

I took my mother and grandmother to this winery on a Friday afternoon and we were able to be seated right away. The interior was laid out very nicely with high top seatings, decorations, etc....
