I had been in the Mortgage Insurance business prior to getting into real estate. Lenders programs and guidelines are forever changing and it's very hard to keep up with everything. I don't pretend to be an expert in the lending process but it helps to have someone who is familiar with the process both through the past job experience but also everything I've learned since 2003. I am pro-active in my business and can avoid a lot of problems just by knowing what's normal....
