History

I began practicing law with several local attorneys including Jim Rigos and the current King County Executive, Dow Constantine. I worked for the firm Cromwell, Mendoza & Belur,P.S. from 1994 through 1996 before opening my own firm in late 1996. Although I have always maintained my practice as a sole practisioner, I have hired two attorneys and three law students who have worked in my office at different times over much of the past ten years. I was also involved in several venture capital deals from 1999 through 2005 including Screenlife, LLC which was the company which produced and sold millions of the SceneIt? games including Harry Potter, James Bond, The Simpsons, Seinfeld, Friends,

Almost three decades worth of experience and a number of areas of expertise. Representations include individuals/small companies regarding residential and commercial real estate transactions, leases, rental agreements, landlord-tenant disputes. General areas of expertise include contract drafting, negotiations and review, estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney) and probate. Representations also include general counsel to small to mid-size companies in a varitey of industries. I am also an experienced litigator. Backround in real estate ownership and sales, finance and formerly a Certified Public Accountant.
