Ritzville Warehouse Company is a farmer-owned grain cooperative located on the Big Bend Plateau in Eastern Washington. The cooperative was formed in 1893 by a group of not more than 20 to 25 pioneer Ritzville farmers who thought they could do better by operating their own storage facilities. Today it has grown from those original pioneering families of the late 180's to more than 1,400 members. Through mergers and acquisitions, Ritzville Warehouse has expanded to encompass 30 different locations with a storage capacity of more than 18 million bushels. Ritzville Warehouse is also part owner of two barge facilities located on the Snake River. It also owns two unit train loading facilities. Ritzville Warehouse opened its 110-car shuttle loading facility known as Templin Terminal in April 2002. This facility allows greater economies of scale to Ritzville Warehouse Company and its members. Maintaining five trucks ensures the prompt delivery of bushels to grain terminals for mostly export sales. These trucks also allow farm stored grain to be hauled to market in a timely and efficient manner. The company also operates its Odessa Trading Company division. Ritzville Warehouse Company is located in Ritzville, Wash.

Inland Empire Milling Co

Inland Empire Milling Co., Inc was founded in 1919 by William and Ernest Schauble. For over 40 years Inland Empire Milling Co operating as a flour mill, provided regional customers and customers in Eastern Asia with wholesome refined flour from wheat produced in the Pacific Northwest. Our family business has changed quite a bit since then, but the name, family, and approach to business remains the same. We continue to provide quality products, as well as grain marketing assistance and crop input advice with small town family values and friendly service. Our Business Our mission adopted in 1919 has never changed: Provide our customers with quality that exceeds their expectations, delivery that meets their specific and unique needs, and at a price that's competitive with other suppliers' product., Ernest Schauble, founder. Throughout our long history, the Schauble family has never lost sight of our mission statement. This attention to detail has enabled us to differentiate ourselves from the large mass suppliers. Our customers know where their products were produced, who managed the crop throughout its production lifecycle, and who handled and shipped the agricultural commodities before arriving at their door. Albert Schauble/Director: Began working at Inland Empire Milling Co., Inc as a child for his father, Ernest Schauble and Grandfather William Schauble. In the early days, Albert helped hand sew flour sacks, stack flour bags into boxcars and other high labor jobs. Albert quickly proved his worth was much better utilized in the office, where he handled contracting and agricultural procurements from the local farmers. Albert still remains active in the day to day activities of the company. He trades futures and options to manage the financial risk of commodity inventory as well as provides valuable insight into the commodity markets in general. Without the devotion and commitment of over 50 years to our family company, we would not be as successful as we are today. Jerry Schauble/ President: Graduated from Washington State University in 1983. Jerry has been actively involved with the family business for over 27 years. His knowledge of various wheat varieties enables Inland Empire Milling Co., Inc tailor our products to best suit our customers' needs. Jerry manages operations, seed production and contracting, domestic freight logistics, and domestic sales.
