Operational since 1973, Evergreen Manor is a nonprofit organization that offers support and treatment services for more than 3,000 chemical dependency and domestic violence victims per year. Its programs include physical assessment, substance abuse treatment, anger management, court monitoring, and family education and counseling. The organization also provides long-term residential treatment programs for more than 100 chemically dependent mothers and over 50 children per year. Evergreen Manor s special women s program include alcohol and drug education, parenting skills training, mental health counseling, dialectical behavioral therapy, smoking cessation, and family and relapse prevention planning. The organization operates a 10-plus-bed detoxification facility that offers treatment options for persons withdrawing from alcohol and other drugs. Its chemical dependency treatment programs are certified by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Evergreen Manor is a member of the Everett Area Chamber of Commerce.
