Rainbow RV Resort on Lake Tanwax is a year-round full-service RV park nestled in the NW foothills of Mt. Rainier, offering great fishing facilities including a 170-foot handicap accessible dock, rental boats, fishing and swimming pontoons, and other amenities. The resort serves as an excellent home base for exploring nearby attractions such as NW Trek Animal Preserve, Mt. Rainier, the Elbe Steam Train, and Pt. Defiance Zoo and Aquarium.

Each year, Rainbow RV Resort raises 18,000 - 25,000 rainbow trout in their net pen, providing guests with the opportunity to witness deer grazing on the property, bald eagles and osprey flying overhead, and a variety of wildlife around the lake. Visitors can enjoy the serene natural surroundings and recreational activities while being in close proximity to popular destinations in the Eatonville, WA area.

The showers need a good scrubbing and it won't break the bank to buy new shower heads since they charge for showers. The grounds are crowded with rv's most look like they haven't moved in years...

Good find for a night! Nice lake view. Nice owners. Small property though but it you're on your way to Mt. Rainier this is a good spot to park your RV for the night.
