Puyallup Watershed Initiative

The Puyallup-White River Local Integrating Organization (PWR-LIO) is dedicated to fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders to address the challenges facing the Puyallup-White River Watershed (WRIA 10) in Washington State. By uniting local communities, businesses, and government entities, PWR-LIO works towards restoring and enhancing the environmental, economic, and cultural health of the watershed.

Since its recognition by the Puget Sound Partnership in 2018, PWR-LIO has focused on developing and implementing an Ecosystem Recovery Plan that encompasses key areas such as salmon recovery, floodplain management, and water quality. The organization is actively involved in ongoing efforts to improve watershed health while engaging the community through meetings, presentations, and opportunities to participate in local initiatives.
