History

YWCA opened Persimmon in October 2016. All proceeds from Persimmon go back to the YWCA, survivors of domestic violence who need job training and skills are employed to work at the boutique and clothing is donated to women who are seeking employment elsewhere and need professional clothing through our Working Woman's Wardrobe.

Specialties

Persimmon is a small boutique filled with new and gently used clothing and accessories for women. It's fun to browse and buy but it's more than a shopping experience - every dollar spent at Persimmon benefits the YWCA and we hire survivors of domestic violence to provide them crucial job training to build their resume and gain financial independence.
