Penny Simkin

Penny Simkin, PT, has been nurturing positive birth memories since 1968. As a physical therapist specializing in childbirth education and labor support, she has guided over 15,000 women, couples, and siblings in preparing for childbirth. Serving as a doula, Penny has provided invaluable assistance to countless women and couples through the birthing process.

Alongside her hands-on work, Penny is an accomplished author, having written multiple books for both parents and professionals in the childbirth field. She has also developed teaching materials for birth classes and created educational videos for educators, doulas, and families, including the popular "There's a Baby" video for siblings-to-be.
