History

Penn Cove Brewing Co. was first established as a single taproom in Coupeville, Washington in 2017. Since, we have grown to become Whidbey Island's largest craft brewer with taprooms located throughout Whidbey Island including Coupeville, Oak Harbor and Freeland. We emphasize the importance of craft, community and collaboration and strive to be active members within our Whidbey Island community.

Welcome to Freeland's newest addition: the Penn Cove Brewery and Taproom. Our new location, overlooking the Olympic Mountain range and Holme's Harbor, offers craft beer, wine and cider in addition to delicious food from local food truck, Reasonably Gordon's. Join us for events such as live music, trivia nights, and beer festivals. We are so excited to be apart of the South Whidbey Island community!
