PATH, established in 1977, is an international nonprofit organization that offers health care services to patients. Its areas of expertise include public health and epidemiology. The organization offers a wide range of services, such as vaccines and immunization and maternal, child and reproductive health. In addition, it offers services that include vaccine development, technology design, development and transfer, and education and training. The organization works in collaboration with the World Health Organization, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, United Nations Population Fund, government ministries and nongovernmental organizations, foundations and private-sector partners. Headquartered in Seattle, the organization operates more than 24 offices worldwide.
