History

nce the Pacific Rim Headache Center was founded by J. Michael Jones, MPAS-C (36 years experience in headache disorder and was trained at MHNI in Ann Arbor for 4 years and at Mayo Clinic's Headache Division for 5 years) and Dr. James Moren (board certified in Headache Medicine) in June of 2011 it has quickly become the second busiest headache, migraine and face pain practice in the state of Washington. Their great success is attributed to delivering state of the art diagnosis and treatment of headache, migraine, and face pain disorders in the atmosphere of great compassion and respect for the sufferer. We presented a study at the International Headache Congress in 2013, which showed that 97% of our patients reported that their care at the Pacific Rim Headache Center is the best headache care they have ever received. This is the highest satisfaction level ever reported by any headache clinic in the world.

Specialties

We are just one of three medical practices board certified in Headache Medicine in the state of Washington. We are the only practice board certified in Headache Medicine that also treats children. While we have offices in Anacortes, Bellingham and Mount Vernon, we see patients from throughout the Pacific Northwest. For long distance patients we can utilize virtual appoints for follow ups. We have a waiting list of less that two weeks most of the time. At an International headache meeting in 2013 a report showed that we have the highest satisfaction rate by our patients than has ever been reported by a headache clinic anywhere. What We Treat (Ages 7 and up) And all types of face pain and headache disorders. We Do Botox Treatments for Chronic Migraine, when it is indicated. We see all levels of headache and face pain patients and do some of our best work with complex patients who have failed treatments with general neurologists, pain clinics and even other headache clinics.
