Why & How we chose Orcas Island: We love the location of Orcas Island Getaway because it's just a few blocks from Crescent Beach, a mile from town (Eastsound) and only 3 miles to Moran State Park, which makes this location second to none. We made a few to trips to Orcas Island over the course of a year, trying to find the right place to buy. The size of the home and property was perfect for what we were looking for, and our vision of what the home 'could be' with some sweat equity was readily apparent. We spent the better part of 6 months remodeling, and started offering the home as a Vacation Rental in March 2015. We look forward to hearing about your stay at Orcas Island Getaway as well!
