History

Our pro-choice nonprofit agency was one of the first adoption agencies in the nation devoted to opening adoption and transforming the adoption process into one of mutual respect and support. Since our inception, we've welcomed single-parent and same-sex families into our pool of waiting families. In the past 25 years, we've planned over 1,200 successful open adoptions. We're licensed in Oregon and Washington.

Specialties

We're a pro-choice nonprofit agency with a progressive approach to building healthy families. We offer expecting parents free, all-options pregnancy counseling, in which we support them as they explore all their options: parenting, abortion and adoption. If they choose parenting or abortion, we offer referrals they need for local services. If their choice is adoption, we help birthparents plan open adoptions and build lifelong relationships with adoptive families. Our services are free for birthparents. Birthparents select their child's adoptive parents from a large pool of waiting families committed to building an open adoption family relationship with them. We welcome single-parent and same-sex families to our pool of waiting families.
