Founded in 1965 by a group of Seattle moms, Northwest Center is dedicated to removing barriers to disability inclusion at school, work, and in the community. Their services empower individuals with disabilities from infancy through adulthood, while also promoting inclusive practices in schools and businesses.
Northwest Center offers a range of programs, including early supports for children from birth to 3 years old, inclusive early learning for kids aged 4 weeks to 5 years, and employment services for adults with disabilities. The staff are great. You can see them smiling under their masks. I've dropped off at this location many times, and they always say thanks. It's so quick to drive in and drop off donations.
