History

The original company was founded by Rod Peterson who started his own HVAC business in Atascadero, CA over 42 years ago. He sold Astascadero Heating in the start of the 90's as him and his wife wanted to move their family back to his home state (Washington). Rod took a couple years off before starting My-T Air in 1992. In 2004, Jeff came on as an apprentice, and in late 2004 had married Rod's daughter Tia. Jeff spent 9 years working side by side with Rod, learning every aspect of the business. Jeff attended many classes and factory training's to become certified, and found his niche in Geothermal Ground Source Heat Pumps, Radiant Floor Heating, and Installs. In 2013, Rod Retired and turned the reigns over to Jeff and his daughter Tia. In April of 2013, Jeff & Tia Amich changed the name from My-T Air to Northside Heating & Air Conditioning. They both concentrate on serving the local area where they had both grown up, Chewelah & Deer Park, Washington.
