History
The first YMCA was founded in 1852. In the mid 70's, parent -child clubs were formed throughout the Northshore neighborhoods. In 1977 Northshore YMCA was recognized as a separate entity.

At the Y, we're experts in helping kids reach their potential through play, learning and physical activity. Kids are encouraged to use their creativity, develop new skills, work and play with peers, and experience positive adult role models. They are not very nice to you if you aren't a "member". I won't be back. Instructors were fine. The front desk area and their supervisors really need charm school.

Great place in our community, also love that they have before and after school care in the area at elementary schools. Good place for kids to work out and play sports!
