My clinical focus is on metabolic and cardiovascular diseases including diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease. I also perform joint injections, skin biopsies, and nail avulsions. I enjoy the combination of problem solving and biology and using this to help improve wellness and quality of life. In medicine, we are privileged to work with patients at their most vulnerable and to work with them to treat chronic illnesses.

Dr. Nakamoto has expertise in renal physiology, including electrolyte and acid base disorders, management of hypertension, and caring for patients in all stages of chronic kidney disease, as well as the management of renal complications in pregnancy.

Dr. Kulgren provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care and has a special interest in the evaluation and management of abnormal pap smears, abnormal uterine bleeding, contraceptive management and transgender care. She also performs gynecologic surgery. I love to spend time with my husband and three kids. I stay active and exercise year round, mostly by running, biking and skiing. I also enjoy spending time in the kitchen and getting out into the garden.
