As a nurse, I felt that I was really making a difference, and I wanted to take that a step further as a nurse practitioner, a career that would allow me to learn every day and enhance my education. My goal with my patients is to maintain open communication, empathize and show compassion, work together to come to a solution, and be quick and timely in response to results and phone calls.

I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help so many.

My belief is that a physician needs to attend to both a patient s mind and body to help them truly achieve optimal health. Everything has to working together for a person to be healthy. I chose internal medicine as my field because it allows me to care for the whole person.
