History

Eleven years ago we met in our high school biology class and we have been blessed with an incredible friendship ever since.. In 2010 we decided to embark on this incredible journey together. With backgrounds in different sectors of the event industry and a great deal of experience with corporate events, we both realized after planning and executing each of our own weddings that that was where our hearts were. Facing the prospect of returning to work after our maternity leaves, we struggled with the idea of putting our then 4 and 6 month old babies in full time child care. We recognized an opportunity that would allow us to turn our passions into a livelihood. To us, Maris Events is far more than a job and the people we work with are much more than just clients. Because of this, we put our whole heart and every effort into each wedding and event we undertake. We began Maris Events after planning our own weddings, and realizing just how much happens behind the scenes on your wedding day. We believe that you, your wedding party and family should be able to savor every moment of this special day, while we take care of the details.We specialize in Day-of Wedding & Event Coordination. A day-of coordinator allows you to be in charge of the details, while giving you peace of mind knowing we will be there to pull everything together, and run the show on your big day...so you don't have to. Tailored to your needs, your custom package, will allow you to feel like a guest at your own event. We work as a team so you will always have two coordinators available to be in more than one place at a time.
