Marginal Way Skatepark in Seattle is a grassroots skateboarding hub, created by local skaters who transformed an abandoned city property into a vibrant skateboarding space. Inspired by Portland's Burnside Park, the skatepark has quickly become a central point for Seattle's skate culture.

Initially a neglected area plagued by undesirable activity, the park was revitalized through community effort and collaboration with nearby businesses. While it offers a covered area for skaters, the location does come with the downside of noise from the nearby Port of Seattle.
