Lyon Creek Waterfront Preserve in Lake Forest Park, WA is a serene .89 acre passive park offering 100 feet of Lake Washington shoreline and 250 feet of Lyon Creek. Visitors can enjoy peaceful moments on the dock by the lake or observe salmon swimming in the creek.
Originally owned by a family in the late 1800s, the park was developed by the City of Lake Forest Park in 1998 with the help of grants. Recent construction projects have enhanced the park's flood mitigation efforts and re-landscaped the area with 4,000 native plants, providing a tranquil natural setting for visitors to explore.

I enjoy going here on a bike ride or with friends or with my dogs. It has a small beach that I've picnicked on before. It's got ducks that my dogs love to watch and stare at.

A pretty and refreshing place! My first visit, we walked in to escape the kamikazi bicyclists on Burke-Gilman. This pocket-park deserves more visits, with picnic, to enjoy the greenery, the creek...

This is easily one of my favorite parks to go to. It's quiet and you can have a great little lunch on the pier while watching the seaplanes take off in Kenmore. There are always tons of ducks...
