The Yakima Union Gospel Mission (YUGM) has been dedicated to helping individuals transition from homelessness to wholeness since 1936, offering essential services such as shelter, meals, and medical care. With a mission centered around faith and community support, YUGM provides various programs designed to address the root causes of homelessness and empower individuals to rebuild their lives.
Among its services are adult and family shelters, meal programs through the Good News Café, and a medical care center that offers free health services to those in need. By fostering a supportive environment and encouraging positive change, YUGM strives to transform the lives of over 1,100 homeless individuals and many more living in extreme poverty in the Yakima area.
