About Lost Art It has been said that barbering is the world's oldest profession and for African Americans, one of the cornerstones of our community. Lost Art was established in 2004 by Vincent E. Parker, Sr. with a vision to bring back the "Art" of barbering. Traditional barbershops with their talcs, tonics, razors and reclining chairs are all but faded away and being replaced with unisex salons. Mr. Parker is dedicated to the preservation of the professional barber by presenting Lost Art as a full service barber shop that offers haircuts, razor shaves, neck shaves, full head shaves, beard & moustache trims, hot towels and shampoos. Lost Art specializes in fades, tapers, clipper cuts, razor shaves and lines and they offer it in a clean and relaxed atmosphere.
