History
Dr. Price graduated from Bastyr University in 1998 with honors in counseling. Prior she had been a research scientist in Biochemistry and Microbiology. She practiced as an active clinician in Women's Health for eight years until she was awarded a National Institute of Health Research grant. She spent from 2005 to 2010 as an NIH fellow in clinical and basic science research. After she joined a practice specializing in complementary cancer care working with oncologist and their patients at such places as Swedish Cancer Institute and MultiCare. She started in solo practice in 2018, and also practices in clinics in Tacoma and Redmond.
Specialties
Dr. Price provides complementary cancer care for patients working with oncologists and other healthcare providers. As a former National Institute of Health Research Fellow, she is also one of the first researchers in North American to look at the affects of Medicinal mushrooms on Breast Cancer and on normal immune systems. Other expertise include Women's Health and issues with digestive system, depression and headaches.
