Lavender Hill Farm

I've gone lavender picking before at some other places, but I wanted to try somewhere new and a little bit closer to home. To get here from Seattle you have to take the Fauntleroy ferry to Vashon...

Just as you enter the border of town you might see a sign at the crossroads pointing to how to get to the lavender farm. On a whim we followed the signs so mom could pick a a couple of bunches....

Wonderful experience! It was very hot so I ended up picking less than expected but they gave me extra lavender to pad out my bundle. Picking a bundle was $10 which felt like an incredible deal....

We came out from Puyallup today just to visit the farm. Got a small lavender wreath, soda, macaroons.. hard candies. The farm is great! The owner and staff are amazing! Thanks everyone

Such an amazing place and amazing view. I came here the last day of the season and it was still absolutely gorgeous. There is a view of the water, a cute table to sit under with shade, same lawn...
