My interest in rheumatology started with undergraduate studies in immunology. This is a complex and rapidly changing field and I hope to make this understandable to my patients. Ophthalmology is an unusual field because it has a mix of both medicine and surgery. I enjoy spending time talking with patients, educating them about their disease so they understand their treatment options. I also enjoy surgery.
